WHAT WE DO FOR YOUR SCHOOL
Charter Schools. Charter schools tend to be smaller in size and do not warrant a full-time or even a part-time therapist. We work with you on a weekly basis to only bill for the time we are at your facility working with students or time we spent documenting progress.
Public Schools. We help you to cover short/long term substitutes, as SLP shortages arise. We can cover caseloads or just complete evaluations as needed. Private Schools. Fees are paid by the families. Schools may budget the fees for specialist programming. Training. We provide training to your staff to help further your employee education. Training topics are not limited to, but may include: how to address multi-linguistic concerns in the classroom, how a language disability affects students in school. . |
WHAT WE DO FOR YOUR STUDENTS
Consultation. We provide assistance with the pre-referral process, school consults in regards to classroom and curriculum modifications, and Individual Education Plan (IEP) development.
Evaluation. We provide articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social language evaluations. If you don't have your own evaluation materials, don't worry--we provide them. Therapy. Speech-language therapy is conducted at your site and all materials are supplied by us. Students are purposefully grouped, as therapy is billed per hour not per student. Expertise. Our therapists are trained in many programs that directly benefit your students. Trainings include: Lindamood Bell's Visualizing & Verbalizing, 5 Minute Kids, Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking, Cultural & Linguistic Diversity Certificate. |
Our Speech Therapist from By Word of Mouth, is consistent, efficient, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Due process paperwork is always timely and thorough, and she communicates effectively with all members of the team to find solutions that work for her student needs. Her skill is evidenced by great student progress and the kids love her!
